Mediterranean Marinade

I've been obsessed with gyros and Mediterranean flavors, as of late. I whisked up a delicious Mediterranean marinade last week and I used it to flavor some chicken for a weekend lunch a few days ago. Also happened upon a WONDERFUL tzatziki recipe that gave me straight up chills. I'll be putting a surprising twist on that later on to share with you all!
Mediterranean Marinade

Total Time: 5 minutes
Marinade Time: 2 hours - 2 days
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp coarse dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
1) Whisk all ingredients together and pour over desired meat. I like to use ziplock bags to marinade meat; get as much air out of the bag as possible to ensure quality contact with marinade. Marinade anywhere from 2 hours to 2 days.
2) ENJOY and post with #perfectleehungry.
